The flexographic printing machine uses the fluid ink with strong fluidity. The ink is transferred from the ink bucket rubber roller and the anilox ink transfer roller to the graphic part of the printing plate for inking, and then the printing pressure is applied by the pressure cylinder to transfer the ink on the printing plate to the substrate, and finally the printing process is completed through the dry surface.
The printing part is the core of the flexographic printing machine. The arrangement of the printing part directly affects the operation performance, print quality, printing speed and the scope of application of printing. According to the arrangement of printing parts, flexographic printing presses can be divided into three types: stack type, satellite type and unit type.
Laminated flexographic printing machine
Stacking flexographic printing machine (as shown in Figure 2) is sometimes called stacking flexographic printing machine. Independent printing units are stacked up and down, arranged at one or both ends of the main wall panel of the printing machine, or various color printing units are installed on the rack. Each printing unit is rotated by a gear mounted on the main wall panel. The stack type mimeograph can print 1-8 colors, but it is usually 6 colors.
Satellite flexographic printing machine
Satellite flexographic printing machine (as shown in Figure 3) sometimes becomes a common impression cylinder flexographic printing machine. Each printing unit is installed between the two wallboards around a common impression cylinder. The printing materials are used for chromatic printing around the common impression cylinder. Because the gear is directly driven, the paper or film can be overprinted accurately even without special control device, and the printing process is stable. It is often used to print color products. Someone once predicted that satellite flexography would be the new mainstream of flexography in the 21st century.
Unit flexographic printing machine
The unit type flexographic printing machine is composed of a process line type flexographic printing machine, 4-8 printing units which are mutually independent and horizontally arranged and driven by a common power shaft. The unit type flexographic printing machine only supports one printing unit for each pair of plates, so the unit type flexographic printing machine can be designed to adapt to different drum surfaces.
